In an emergency
- Report it to Accident and Emergency (A&E). Call 999 and request an ambulance.
- Report it to the police. Call 999. There is an option for silent support if talking will put you in danger.
Non-emergency
If it isn’t an emergency, you can speak to your GP/healthcare professional, call the police non-emergency number 101 or attend any local police station.

The Advice Centre at the Students’ Union at UWE is a free, confidential, impartial service where an advisor can talk through your options, the procedure, how to report an incident, and support you through the process. This can include checking draft reports and attending any meetings you have with the University.
