While anonymous messaging provides a way to continue communication after submitting a report, it has significant limitations. Without identifiers, we are unable to take proactive action, including investigating misconduct. Anonymous messaging is not intended for long-term communication and will be limited accordingly. If a reporter needs help or support, they must make a named report, which will be managed in line with relevant confidentiality expectations.
Report + Support now offers reporters the option to opt in to anonymous messaging when reporting anonymously. However, to ensure appropriate action can be taken where necessary, individuals seeking support should consider submitting a named report.
We aim to respond within 3 working days. This is not an emergency service and is only monitored Monday to Friday during working hours (8:30 to 17:00 excluding university closure days).
Please note this is not a chat or instant messaging function.
If you have concerns for your safety or that of anyone else, please call the emergency services on 999.
